On Becoming
Who is it
who is refusing to become
who you imagine yourself to be?
Who is it
who is longing to become
who you imagine yourself to be?
Who is it
you truly are
and what are you waiting for?
3 ideas + 3 questions on becoming, from me.
Imagination is an inner world process used to dream a vision to life. Becoming is the process used to bring inner and outer worlds into alignment, to bring the vision of a dream to life. Imagination is the process of dreaming, becoming is the process of creating the dream.
Imagine A Truer Version of You. Each time you are inspired to imagine a new dream, you are invited to imagine the person you need to become to build it. The dream you imagine brings you closer to the person you know you are meant to be. The person the world needs you to be.
Become Who You Imagine. When you see who it is you are meant to be in a dream, you understand who you need to let go of to get there. Let go of what is holding you back and integrate what is needed to bring greater alignment with who you are meant to be. Become who you imagine in your inner and outer worlds.
The Unfolding You. Your life is a continuously unfolding conversation. Just as your life is in constant motion, your becoming is an active, lifelong process of continuously orienting who you are being in the direction of who life is inviting you to become in your dreams.
Imagine a dream you are not bringing to life today:
Who is the person you imagine you need to become to create this dream?
What do you need to let go of and what do you need to integrate to become this person?
Where in your life have you decided no further unfoldment is necessary and why? Is this decision holding you back from bringing this dream to life?
3 insights on becoming, from others.
Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?

Before I can tell my life what I want to do with it, I must listen to my life telling me who I am.
Parker J. Palmer
To be ourselves causes us to be exiled by many others, and yet to comply with what others want causes us to be exiled from ourselves.
